Continuum

Here I am again with birthday 70 less than a montha way. In the process of frantically trying to wind up work and begin to reture I seems to become just more frantic. I have let go some jobs but appear to be taking on more. I do know I have to pay more attention to health and exercise. Got to get on a regular schedule. Continuum

As I sit on this snowy day
Listening to musical interlude
My eyes far away.
I think of family and friends
And believe I am in the right place
For someone about to be 70.

Finally a Labor Day picnic on North Beach

This set of photos is in the reverse order of what happened. This is our final celebration thanks to Aunt Sandy and Uncle Dan. A trip out to North Beach to have hotdogs and cheese burgers over a charcoal fire yummmm. Uncle Rocky found some sea treasures, a horseshoe crab and sea stars and an eel. Then the kids ran and ran over the beach and through the water. We watched the shorebirds feeding, the sun go down, and ran in the waves of the outer beach. Finally returned very tired to bed. What a wonderful labor day for all.

Labor Day Fun continues at Morris Island

The three girls and Max along with Anne and Hap go on a scavenger hunt to get Junior Ranger Badges for Monomoy Wildlife Refuge on Morris Island.

The Rocky family with the three girls and their mother along with Hap and son Max visited for Labor Day. First they had popcicles, used the computer and a party at Aunt Sandy's.

Fouth of July 05

What is the first step?

Age 70 is almost here. I have have worked and never had the feeling of nothing to do since age 13. Should I now dump all the projects and just wing it for at least one year after turning 70; going where money and whim allow and and only "doing" something when the muse is upon me for one year? ATTEND NO MEETINGS.

Thoughts on a Memorial to a life.

Should my memorial say "She died with too much left to do!" or "She certainly knew how to retire."
